Venture Building Manager​

Tam joined the Yunus Environment Hub as Venture Building Manager on the Zero Plastic Waste City project in Vietnam. She is committed to radiating positive energy by practicing the seven principals of the Grameen Social Business.

Her first name “Tam” means “Heart” in Vietnamese language.

Tam comes from southern Vietnam (Mekong Delta) and has lived in Ho Chi Minh City for over 17 years. She is an avid reader whose core values are promoting kindness, education, and humanitarian empowerment and developmental works. She has been travelling intensively throughout Vietnam for professional and personal purposes. In 2015, Tam made her first trip overseas and spent 03 weeks in Australia. This transforming tour widened her horizon and reaffirmed her values.

Her career journey has been a life-enriching compact of 14 years working in the business (Account Manager, export & processing zone & mobile app start-up), education (international school) and philanthropic (Country Manager, Deputy CEO & Project Manager – Australian, French & British INGOs) sectors.

She adores literature, linguistics, performing arts, innovative ideas and senses of humor.  

Tam holds a Bachelor’s degree in British Literature & Linguistics and currently studies to complete her Master’s degree in English Pedagogy. On top of that, she completed various courses on copywriter, press & media, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, PYP, construction, leadership and people with special needs, etc.
